Superior’s Antique Series pays homage to the handcrafted quality of authentic wood surfaces. Our technicians craft each plank by hand with specialty blades and gauges. Working in small sections to ensure consistency, downward pressure is applied and the tool is pulled and scraped along the surface to create the desired effect. The result is a completely unique, original and handcrafted surface. The depth, character, rustic features, and hand-made appeal are difficult to mirror in a pre-finished product. With a low sheen level of 10%, Superior’s Antique Series offers all the same low-maintenance benefits that our available in Superior’s Legend Series. The Antique Series is available in Maple and Red Oak. Both species complement the hand-scraped finish and work well with design that incorporates warm ruggedness.
